The City Program Endowment Fund

To ensure long-term success, the City Program Endowment Fund was established in 1995. At that time, a generous lead gift from The Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia was matched by Simon Fraser University. Several years later, The Lohn Foundation provided a large donation.

Since that time we've received an endowment for an annual public lecture on urban design from VIA Architecture through the generosity of Graham McGarva and Susan Baker. As well, the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Community Aboriginal and Women's Services, made a significant contribution to the Endowment Fund to support programs on heritage conservation. All donors have played an integral role in helping the City Program offer free public lectures, courses and programs.
