About Us
The Chang Institute is Simon Fraser University’s interdisciplinary home and academic hub for entrepreneurship. Within the Beedie School of Business, we work with all faculties to create the conditions to foster the entrepreneurial mindset, bringing together the SFU community to engage and collaborate and work across an innovation continuum from K-12 through to early-stage incubation and beyond.
Our Purpose
We work with students to create their own opportunities and learn to thrive in an unpredictable future. The most valuable gift we can give them is helping them realize the potential they already have: the entrepreneurial mindset. Whether their dreams include unleashing the inner innovator within an organization, the changemaker in society, or the venture entrepreneur, we support everyone within the university community through co-creation of valuable, interdisciplinary programs that meet the unmet needs of our students and our local and global communities.
