Venture Prize

WILL THERE BE A VENTURE PRIZE COMPETITION THIS YEAR? 

The Coast Capital Venture Prize competition celebrated innovative ideas and entrepreneurial pursuits from the Simon Fraser University community. Through our historic 14 years of hosting this entrepreneurship competition, over $600K in cash and in-kind support was awarded to early-stage business ventures and ideas, and many winners (like MetaOptima, Moment Energy, SpexiGeo, Mala the Brand, ODEN Health Technology, Employ to Empower) continue their success to this day. 

While Venture Prize is on hiatus, there are other showcases and competitions - such as Opportunity Fest and Idea Prize - that continue to support SFU students, staff, faculty and alumni in their pursuit of entrepreneurial practice.
