WHAT IS THE CEEpOLLS TOOL?
CEEpolls is a polling tool integrated directly into Canvas, and can facilitate polling asynchronously. It offers a simple, straightfoward way to engage students with course materials and each other.
Engagement tools such as CEEpolls allow instructors to:
- gather student opinions on content or concepts
- gauge student understanding of specific content
- gather other feedback from students.
To request to have the CEEpolls tool added to your Canvas course, email ceehelp@sfu.ca. Once it has been added to your course, you can embed the tool into any Canvas component that has the Rich Content Editor, such as Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, Pages, Quizzes, Syllabus, etc. For graded polling, it can only be used within Assignments.
