Vision and Mission
VISION
That all colonialism is dismantled and systemic racism ceases to exist through Black caucus creating and empowering Black community presence on campus, and by building solidarity across Black faculty, staff, students, alumni and community to improve the lived conditions and experiences of everyone through equity and racial justice.
Mission
SFU’s Black Caucus is to create space for the empowerment of SFU's Black faculty staff students, alumni, and community members through action, education, and capacity building. We will endeavour to ensure faculty staff and student representation and highlight the importance of all Black community members having a space to uplift our voice.
