Student Lounge
Did you know that at SFU, there is a dedicated space for students who speak French?
Located in the Cornerstone Building, next to the OFFA offices (Room 198-B), the Student Lounge is the ideal place to study or relax between classes. You will find several study tables, couches, a kitchen (with microwave and fridge for your lunch), a multimedia library with materials in French (novels, non-fiction books, magazines, films, music) and much more. There are also two computers operating Antidote (a software program for French grammar correction and writing assistance).
This lounge also serves as a venue for several events and activities in French at SFU: conferences, film screenings, celebrations, etc.
Enjoy this space—it was created for you! And don't hesitate to stop by and say hello to the members of the OFFA team.
