The following aims and goals of this game are as follows

• to become familiar with basic HTML.
• to develop the ability to use text, colour, images, links, lists, tables and styles to create web pages that are both aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.
• to be able to read and write basic HTML code directly

These are important skills for two reasons. First, all web authors eventually edit some part of their site directly. It is the only way to really understand and control a site. Second, understanding HTML gives you some important skills for understanding many other forms of symbolic expression in computers.
