The Point of Care Health Technologies (PCHT) Team is a multidisciplinary collaboration of 16 SFU faculty members from 4 faculties working to research and develop new point of care health technologies to improve health outcomes and keep people out of hospitals. The team is focused on ground breaking research from fundamental mechanistic ideas to clinical trials of point of care technologies. Throughout the research process we aim to develop a community of health technology innovators, build research and training capacity at SFU Surrey and Surrey's Innovation Boulevard, and prepare the next generation of innovators to take on the unique challenges of effective, cost conscious healthcare.
