How and when did you arrive at SFU?

I started my career with SFU as a Sales Manager in MECS in the Fall of 2011.

What’s your favourite part of working at MECS?

My favourite part of working at MECS is working with an amazing group of people who always strive to go above and beyond for our clients.

What achievement at MECS are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the relationships I have built with my clients. From our internal SFU community to our external clients, they know they can depend on me and reach out if they ever need to book a small meeting, a large multi-day conference or find a venue for their next film production.

What’s your best piece of meeting, event or conference advice?

As stressful and as time-consuming it is to plan an event or conference, the end result of seeing it come to fruition is the best feeling ever! Enjoy every minute of it and don’t let the stress get to you!

What is one fun or unexpected fact about you?

I am a martial arts/taekwondo instructor and teach kids ages 4-6 years. I love their enthusiasm and excitement when they come to class!
