Majestic mountains, sparkling ocean, temperate rainforests and a glistening cityscape: welcome to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Consistently ranked as one of the most liveable cities in the world, it will not take you long to find out why. Ride a bike along the 22 km seawall, explore the endless culinary delights, admire local artists on Granville Island or visit its buzzing Public Market, paddle board in False Creek, visit North America’s third largest China Town, taste the local beers at the microbreweries, hike the local mountains for breathtaking panoramas of the Cityscape, or relax on one of the City beaches. This City caters to every taste. For more suggestions, visit the Tourism Vancouver website (www.tourismvancouver.com).

Getting around – Find out why downtown Vancouver is considered one of North America’s most walkable City – safe, clean and brimming with restaurants, cafes and shops, the best way to explore the City is on foot! You can also rent a bicycle or try out the excellent public transit network (www.translink.ca).

Climate – July is one of the warmest months of the year, with average daily temperatures of 18 ° C (64 ° F). Although July is also the driest month of the year, that means little in the City they call ‘Raincouver’. Come prepared.
