IMGS 2015 - Vancouver
16th International Medical Geography Symposium
Simon Fraser University is delighted to host the 16th International Medical Geography Symposium in July, 2015. 2015 also marks the university's 50th anniversary. The IMGS international conference holds a special place in the sub-discipline of health/medical geography, serving as a meeting point for those interested in examining spatial and place-based issues in the context of health and health care. The organizing committee welcomes all interested individuals to consider participating in this event either as a presenter or attendee.
Simon Fraser University has three campuses in British Columbia's lower mainland area and is Canada's leading comprehensive university. The IMGS will be hosted at the university's Vancouver campus, located in the centre of beautiful downtown Vancouver directly across from the Delta Vancouver Suites hotel. Most poster and paper sessions and refreshment breaks will take place in rooms on the first and second floors of the Harbour Centre building. The university's health geography group is based on the university's main campus in Burnaby.
