Facilities Services by the numbers

The department is responsible for stewardship of Simon Fraser University's lands and buildings that serve more than 26,000 students and encompass more than 432,000 square meters of campus buildings on 156.8 hectares of land.                           

Our 150+ staff members plus 140+ external contract employees are our most valuable asset. Our credentials vary widely; we are comprised of skilled technicians and trades persons, custodians, groundskeepers, mechanics, electricians and carpenters, operating engineers, maintenance professionals, clerical assistants, engineers, architects, technologists, managers, administrators and more.
