Master of Engineering in Engineering Science
Overview
Master of Engineering (MEng) program at the School of Engineering Science is a course-based program. Sudents in this program take courses to fulfill the program requirements towards the degree.
The MEng program is designed for full-time or part-time students who want to take some graduate courses to improve their competitiveness in the job market.
International students are welcome to apply.
Students in the MEng program are ineligible for university financial support except for the Teaching Assistantships (TA). MEng students have lower TA priority than PhD and MASc students from the School of Engineering Science.

Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission to the MEng program, applicants must meet the minimum university requirements for admission and have a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, engineering science or a related area.
English language waivers, conditional or qualifying admissions are never granted for this program.
Academic Requirements Within The Graduate General Regulations
All graduate students must satisfy the academic requirements that are specified in the graduate general regulations (residence, course work, academic progress, supervision, research competence requirement, completion time, and degree completion), as well as the specific requirements for the program in which they are enrolled, as shown above.
Supervision
Supervisory Committee is not required for MEng students. The Associate Chair of the Graduate Program Committee is the default program advisor of all MEng students and will be the approver for MEng students' requests.
Funding
MEng is a course-based program. Students in MEng program do not receive garanteed funding from the School. However, MEng students can still apply for Teaching Assistantships (TA).
