Movement Neurorehabilitation and Neurorepair laboratory (MoveNN)

My research program leverages big data applications to explore how the central nervous system responds to injury, both independently and in conjunction with neurorehabilitation strategies. The focus is on quantifying movement loss and recovery using advanced computer vision techniques. We also collect electrophysiological data from the brain and spinal cord and assess pathway integrity—from the brain to the muscles—as a biomarker for neurorecovery (e.g., corticospinal tract integrity). We are actively seeking national and international collaborations to test promising new therapies alongside neurorehabilitation and to apply big data approaches to clinical datasets.
