Who we are: Bluebox is a collective based in Vancouver, BC that specializes in art house production in multistage environments utilizing various media. Blue Box's paradigm specialties are Interaction design and Immersive virtual/physical environments. With an emphasis on narratives, Blue Box aims to fuse a range of media into Immersive, Multi Linear User centered narratives. The Bluebox collective's approach towards an exploration of ideological discourse in new media leads it constantly towards a frontier of ongoing evolution of bridging the gap between abstract notions of new media with an attempt of forging together various streams. The underlying assistance to the process of merging differing ideas to the audience is the amalgamation of various media into one form which differs from the ordinary when comparison to other popular forms are seen that excel in new media and game aspects individually. The BlueBox collective brings forth a new ideology that brings in the idea of authorship and ownership and what that really means. The current Net-savvy generation defines the transition between media of all forms. While we aim to look at a fragment of this, the bigger ideas can only give clarity to themselves once the smaller puzzle pieces fit together.
