I am a current undergraduate at Simon Fraser University majoring in Interactive Arts and Technology (B.A), with a main focus in 3D animation and web design. Design is a hobby that I have held since middle school, as I ran my own graphic design site for many years. I am also interested in other areas of design, such as game, product, sound, character, fashion, environmental, and interior.
Both simplicity as well as complicated designs have their place in our society to create something beautiful and with substance. A simple poster making use of whitespace and geometric shapes with one line can be very effective in marketing or getting a message across, but an array of curves and many colors woven together can create something stunning. I also love harmonizing colors, as well as mixing grayscale with soft or vibrant shades.
I am very detail-oriented and greatly enjoy working on the small things that make up a cohesive whole, as the whole is only as great as each of its parts. Meticulous planning and ideating through sketches helps me create projects from my mind's eye. I am also a digital artist and enjoy bringing concepts and characters to life with color, wielding only a tablet pen.
