A Lab
Slave's Work
- A parody by
John Fraser.
Scrub
I used to don my
gloves and scrub,
I had some cleaner
and a tub.
I was so tired
that I barely tried,
And I made
progress but it never died.
He could stay,
If he did
everything he'd say,
Gibbs just seemed
to get in his way.
Those days we
weren't considered fun,
A lab slave's work
is never done
He'd fight grime
all the time,
He'd never win,
Till Miss Kermer
would break it up,
And call him in.
He was tough, he
was hard but he was kind,
And he was loved,
Cause fools like
him
Were hard to find.
Scrub,
I'll never scrub
some day,
I think I'd still
know how to play.
I scrub glass now
but its still not fun,
A lab slave's work
is never done.
