SALT 20 is
being held at the Vancouver campus of
Simon Fraser
University at Harbour Centre in Downtown Vancouver. It is important to note that the
SFU Vancouver is distinct from the main SFU
campus located in Burnaby which is quite far away from the
conference site. Make sure you are aware of this information when
making transportation and accommodation plans.
Note: Rates
listed are the starting rates, and are
approximate only. They are in Canadian dollars. This list has
been provided by Meeting and Event Services, Simon Fraser University at
Harbour Centre.
Please make your reservations as early as possible. The weekend of SALT 20 is the beginning of peak season in Vancouver and so there may be severe problems of room availability if you wait too long to make arrangments for accommodation.

Validate the ticket when boarding a bus, or at the SkyTrain station before boarding. Blue ticket validation machines at SkyTrain stations are usually located near ticket vending machines. Keep the validated tickets as proof of payment and also to serve as transfers. A DayPass provides unlimited transit use on all buses, SkyTrain and SeaBus for one day from the start of the first transit service. You can use it for travel through all zones, and save money over buying single fares when you take multiple trips. The cost is $9.
You can purchase FareSaver tickets and DayPasses from any authorized FareDealer location such as Mac's, 7-Eleven, Safeway or London Drugs. The newspaper kiosk in the Waterfront station also sells them.
