SFU named Canada's first Fairtrade Gold Campus for second year
SFU has been recognized by Fairtrade Canada and the Canadian Fair Trade Network for the second year in a row as the only educational institution in Canada to attain the highest level of Fair Trade Campus designations—the Fair Trade Gold Campus status.
SFU ranked as top employer in Canada by MediaCorp and Forbes
In collaboration with market research company Statista, Forbes' annual Canada's Best Employers competition identifies the companies best liked by employees through surveying workers around the country. It ranks the 300 employers which receive the most recommendations.
According to MediaCorp, the 2020 competition attracted a record number of applicants, making this year's win an exceptional accomplishment for the university.
