Microelectronics I ENSC 225 (4)

Introduces the fundamentals of electronic devices with applications to active electronic circuits. Topics include physical structure and terminal characteristics of diodes and transistors; application of large and small signal device models in elementary amplifiers, current mirrors, and bias networks; behavioural models and frequency limitations of operational amplifiers. Prerequisite: (ENSC 220 or MSE 250), MATH 232, and (MATH 260 or MATH 310), all with a minimum grade of C-.
