Super Advising Sessions

Our experienced Academic Advisors are ready to help you make good choices as you prepare for Fall course enrollment and the start of your academic journey at SFU.

These sessions are intended for newly admitted students.

Super Advising Sessions for Undeclared/Exploratory Students

These set of sessions are hosted by Student Services Academic Advisors and provide university transition and general course planning guidance for newly admitted undergraduates who are beginning their studies at SFU this Fall 2024.  The target audience are students who are "undeclared," meaning you were admitted to a Faculty but not yet a specific major program, or seeking an "internal transfer," meaning you are interested in switching to a new program* other than the one you were admitted for.

  • Saturday, June 29th | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT (Zoom)
  • Wednesday, July 3rd | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT (Zoom)
  • Saturday, July 6th | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT (Zoom)

Note: if you are already declared / admitted to a specific major program or pursuing Contemporary Arts programs or Engineering Science programs, we refer you to connect with the respective undergraduate program advisors of those subjects for course planning assistance.  Specific Faculties may be providing similar advising sessions and services (see below).
