International SOS Member Portal

SFU has partnered with International SOS (ISOS) to provide travel safety resources using the ISOS Member Portal. SFU members are encouraged to use the portal to:

  • Review destination-specific medical and security information and other ISOS services to help prepare for their trip. 
  • Sign up to receive timely medical and security alerts with actionable advice via email. These alerts can keep you informed of situations unfolding at the destination. 
  • Download the ISOS Assistance App which gives you access to up-to-date destination-specific medical, security, and travel information as well as the latest medical and security alerts and one-click dialing to the nearest ISOS Assistance Center.

Note: No personal information is collected to access the Member Portal to view ISOS resources and services. However, if you chose to email yourself a location report, sign up for email alerts, download the Assistance App or contact an ISOS Assistance Center, you will need to provide personal information to access those services*.

International SOS is under contract with Simon Fraser University to provide medical, security, and logistical information, evacuation and repatriation, and emergency travel and accommodation arrangements. The information on this form is collected for the University under the general authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (R.S.B.C. 1996, c165). It is related directly to and needed by International SOS and the University to provide incident response and emergency evacuation assistance.

The information will be used to administer your account, alert you of advisories pre and during trip, locate and assist during emergencies, and contact emergency contacts if required.
