My Personal Description
I am from Sichuan, China, and currently studying as an international student at Simon Fraser University. I am enrolled in the SIAT program, focusing on interactive systems, with a current GPA of 3.3.
With a strong foundation in programming, including Java, JavaScript, C++, Processing, Arduino, HTML, and CSS, I navigate the digital landscapes as both creator and programmer. My passion lies in designing games and interactive installations that require technology. Additionally, my proficiency in UX and UI design also allows me to create user-centered designs that focus on usability, accessibility, and overall satisfaction. I consistently excel in projects that demand a programming foundation, and I can integrate my knowledge of UX and UI to provide users with a more engaging digital experience.
What Do I Do and How
Web Development
I design and develop websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This includes creating user-centered designs that focus on usability and accessibility, ensuring that users have a seamless and engaging experience.
Game Development
I create data-driven gameplay systems using C++, Java, and Processing. These projects demonstrate my ability to design interactions between users and the system, improving efficiency and enhancing the gaming experience.
Software Development
I have experience in both server-side and client-side development, enabling effective communication between the two ends. This includes handling server-client interactions, developing backend services, and ensuring smooth data exchange, which is crucial for creating robust and efficient applications.
Interactive Systems Development
In my role as an interactive systems developer, I utilize technologies like Processing and Arduino to create interactive installations. These projects involve integrating hardware and software to develop immersive and interactive experiences, demonstrating my ability to bring innovative concepts to life through technology.
