As a senior game designer and project lead at small studios in Vancouver (RIP Backbone Entertainment and Big Sandwich Games) and Toronto (HitGrab), Eric learned to work collaboratively with, and lead, diverse creative teams of designers, coders, and artists . He used play and de-personalized feedback systems, within an Agile development environment, to improve team member buy-in on creative direction and tough decisions. And his commitment to regular user testing kept his teams on the right path.

With a new focus on the micro-interactions of user interfaces, Eric has updated his education on new methods and tools in the industry. His passion for developing usable and gratifying interactions lives alongside his deep commitment to ethical design practices that hold users’ wellbeing as the ultimate goal.
