LOGMULTREAD | NOLOGMULTREAD

LOGMULTREAD: opens the session log file for shared read access.
NOLOGMULTREAD: closes the session log file. This is the default.

Details

The LOGMULTREAD system option allows you to open the session log file for shared read access. The default is NOLOGMULTREAD. Specifying LOGMULTREAD degrades performance, because data are written to the log more frequently.
