Syntax

Syntax

FDELETE(fileref)

Under UNIX, fileref can also be an environment variable. The fileref cannot be associated with a list of concatenated filenames or directories. If the fileref is associated with a directory, the directory must be empty. You must have permission to be able to delete the file. Refer to the UNIX man page for chmod for more information about permissions.
