ALTLOG


Specifies the destination for a copy of the SAS log

Default: no copy of the SAS log is made
Valid in: SAS invocation, SASV8_OPTIONS environment variable, configuration file

-ALTLOG filename|-NOALTLOG

-ALTLOG filename
specifies the name of a file to which the copy of the SAS log is to be sent.

-NOALTLOG
causes any previous ALTLOG specifications to be ignored.

Details

All messages that are written to the SAS log are also written to filename.
