| Details |
The MAPS option specifies the name of the SAS data library that holds the SAS/GRAPH map data sets. The library-specification argument can be a libref, an environment variable, or a pathname of a directory. Do not use a specific filename. You can reassign the MAPS libref, but you cannot clear it.
Map files may have to be uncompressed before they are used. Use the CONTENTS statement in the DATASETS procedure to determine whether they are compressed.
