-ENGINE engine-name

Details

The ENGINE value can be one of the following:

V7|V8|BASE
specifies the default SAS engine for Version 7 and Version 8. These engines are identical.

V6, V609, V610, V612
specifies the default engine for Release 6.09 through Release 6.12. These engines are identical.

V7TAPE|V8TAPE|TAPE
specifies the sequential engine for Version 7 and Version 8. These engines are identical.

V6TAPE
specifies the sequential engine for Version 6.
