Mary Wilson is doctoral student in SFU's Curriculum
Theory and Implementation program, and has an M.A. in adult
education from UBC. Her research interests reflect her passion
for teaching and learning. She is intrigued by the ways in
which professors and instructors with different subject expertise
approach teaching and curriculum development, and the extent
to which their expertise influences their view of good teaching.
She is especially interested in teaching online, and in developing
approaches to prepare instructors for online teaching.
Mary is an Instructional Development Consultant at the British Columbia Institute
of Technology, specializing in faculty development, Web-based instruction and
program planning.
