6A10.10 Blackboard Optics
Concepts
Ray optics, lenses, mirrors, total internal reflection, index of refraction
Overview
The blackboard optics demo includes a ray box, various clear plastic lenses and shapes, and mirrors. It can be used to demonstrate many kinds of optics phenomena, including total internal reflection and image formation.

Technicals
- There's an optimal position for the light bulb in the ray box to get more-or-less equal brightness for all five rays. On this unit, it's roughly middle-right of the socket, with orientation determined by the KEP sticker being right-way up.
