Participate in an information session and discussion about the SFU Medical School

The provincial government is working to enhance primary care and access to family doctors across B.C. Part of this work includes the creation of a medical school at SFU to educate more doctors to serve underserved populations and to improve care throughout the province.

Building on feedback received in previous phases of engagement, SFU's Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic (Provost’s Office) would like to give SFU faculty, staff and students a chance to get updates, provide further feedback and explore how they can benefit from and be involved with the new medical school.

We are scheduling faculty, research faculty, staff and Indigenous community dialogues for March and April 2023, beginning with an online information session and discussion for faculty, staff and students on March 2, 3-4:30 p.m.
