Biography
Dr. Vijay Singh earned his doctorate in Algebraic Geometry from University College Dublin, Ireland, in 2011. He pursued postdoctoral research at Simon Fraser University (SFU), the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS), the University of British Columbia (UBC), and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). His
interests include teaching mathematics and exploring zero-knowledge proofs.
Dr. Singh has been teaching at SFU since 2011, initially as a sessional instructor, later as a limited-term lecturer, and now as a lecturer. He is passionate about engaging with diverse audiences in mathematical discussions and is actively involved in outreach initiatives. Additionally, he is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) efforts, as well as creating an inclusive academic
environment.
