Christie Carlson Wins the 2020 Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Award for Excellence in Service
Our former Graduate Program Assistant Christie Carlson won the 2020 Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Award for Excellence in Service!
Christie provided outstanding support to our graduate program in her role - including spearheading several community-building initiatives. Nominators praised her exceptional service and empathetic care towards our graduate students.
“Much of what Christie does constitutes service beyond the call of duty,” says Dr. Nathan Ilten, the former Math Graduate Program Chair. “Christie’s door is always open to our students ... I can unequivocally say that the single most positive influence on students’ morale is Christie’s presence.”
Congratulations on this well-deserved award and thank you for all your contributions, Christie!
