Sasha Zotine Awarded Certificate "With Distinction"
August 02, 2019
Sasha Zotine defended his MSc thesis titled Explicitly Representing Vector Bundles over Elliptic Curves on August 2, 2019, and has received the certificate "With Distinction" for his achievement.
The examining committee remarked that Sasha's defence was exceptional and exceeded expectations in all categories and his thesis showed a high quality of writing and high mathematical sophistication. Furthermore, the examining committee noted that particularly impressive was Sasha's main results, all obtained entirely independently of his supervisory team.
Sasha graduates with his MSc degree this term and will start his PhD at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, this fall to further his studies in Algebraic Geometry.
