Remembering the Workers Who Built This City, One Story At A Time:
Vancouver Labour History Walking Tours

Did you know that Vancouver was home to Canada’s first general strike in 1918? What about the month-long Post Office Occupation of 1938?
Registrations are now open for the BC Labour Heritage Centre’s 2017 Vancouver Labour History Walking Tour season. Participants are asked to register in advance through Eventbrite, by searching “Vancouver Labour History” or following this link: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/vancouver-labour-history-walking-tours-tickets-32274097695

WHY: The BC Labour Heritage Centre works to preserve and expand the knowledge of the important role of workers in the history of BC. Too often, these stories are forgotten.
