Trish Garner

Trish Garner is a tea-swilling Brit with a passion for social justice. They are currently the Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives at the BC Federation of Labour, having gained their research, policy and community organizing experience through various roles at BC’s Office of the Human Rights Commissioner, the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, and Raise the Rates. Trish has a PhD in gender, sexuality and women’s studies from SFU and lives with their partner and three young children in North Burnaby.
