Abstract

The iconic double-helix lies at the heart of not only the current revolutions in molecular biology and personalized medicine, but in many other, often unsuspected, areas of research and application. These include computation, nanotechnology, and biosensing methodologies. I will touch upon some of our own research, that aims to study the fundamental properties of DNA as well to find novel applications for this remarkable substance.
