The International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse INPEA - Student Section
The
INPEA - Student Section was founded at the 18th World Congress of Gerontology in Rio de Janeiro in June 2005. This student section, with a specific focus on elder abuse, will contribute to the current work in the field as well as increasing the awareness of students themselves, and those they are in contact with. There will be many opportunities for students to enrich their educational program through particaption in elder abuse research, education and practice available through INPEA student membership. INPEA is proceeding with the Worldview on Elder Abuse Research Agenda, a major project of which is the Needs Assessment- Environmental scan. Students around the world can be brought together to work on this project and to ensure a successful outcome.
