Canadian Association of Geographers Award

This award is presented annually to the top Geography student in the graduating class at each Canadian university.

This year's recipient, Pierre Etienne Banville, is graduating with a second degree BEnv in Global Environmental Systems.

Pierre will be starting a Master's Degree in the Fall here at SFU Geography under the supervision of Dr. Kirsten Zickfeld where he will conduct research on nature-based climate solutions. In July-August, he will be taking a road trip in the Maritimes with his wife and two young daughters (six and two) and spending time with family in Quebec.
