This map demonstrates how prices of individually selected homes in Whistler have evolved over time. The greatest price increases occur in the heart of Whistler, in and around the village. During Whistler's evolution the largest amount of development has occurred within the village area and hence has experienced the greatest price change. In the outskirts, price change has not been as drastic, due to many factors. In our project we have concentrated on the effect of restricted housing. Referring to the restricted housing figure, most of the developments are in the outskirts of Whistler and therefore can be considered a contributing factor to a smaller increase in price change.
