Watershed Groups of the Georgia Basin - Catchment Areas

In the Fraser watershed group, the 1x10⁷ to 1x10⁸ groups are well represented while smaller groups, 1x10⁶ and 5x10⁶ , are not represented at all. The Fraser group has a large spread with one station at a very small drainage area and several at very large drainage areas.

In the South Coast watershed group, the 5x10⁷ and 1x10⁸ groups are well represented while there is a scattering of stations slightly larger and slightly smaller than these.

In the Vancouver Island watershed group, the 5x10⁷ and 5x10⁸ groups are well represented. The distribution of stations is approximately normal with a negative skew. There are no extremely large or extremely small drainage areas represented.
