WELCOME TO
HANNAH (MAGGIE)ISENOR's
HOME PAGE

I am a student at SFU ( Simon Fraser University), which is located in Burnaby, British Columbia.  I am pursuing a joint major degree in Geography and Business Administration.   I know, weird combination!  I want to work within the Environmental Resource Management field.  Presently, my focus is GIS (Geographic Information Systems), which explain this webpage - one of those weekly lab projects!

I am also a coop student, which means that I spend four semester working within my area of interest.  From January, 2000 to August, 2000 I worked for the Ministry of Environment, Land & Parks, in Williams Lake.  Here are a few pictures of me working in the field!

FallSemester2000

I took four course this semester

Two of these courses included a term project.  Within the Intermediate GIS course the term project required a spatial analysis on a topic of our choice. My topic was the selection of potential cabin location for the family property at 70 Mile, British Columbia.   In Cartography we were asked to develop a map on a subject of our choice.  I created a map of The Platte River in Nebraska with a focus on Sandhill Cranes.  Did you know that over 500,000 cranes migrate to Platte River every spring?  You can check either of these project or send me an email by selecting one of the links below.
