Biography
Reza is a Ph.D. candidate at Simon Fraser University (SFU), focused on Vehicle-Track Interaction (VTI, Railway) at the school of Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE) under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Oldknow. Previously, he obtained his Master's degree in transport Systems Engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy that his thesis was about the Railway area (The subject was focused on multi-body simulation (MBS), The Implications of Active Lateral Suspension on Rail Vehicle Performance) supervised by Professor Riccardo Licciardello in collaboration with Italferr Company. Furthermore, he has a good background in Universal Mechanism software, MiniProf Envision, Contact Library For Matlab, Python, and SIMPACK (multi-body simulations; MBS).
Reza has a strong interest in sustainability and understands the value of communicating with policymakers about the effects of potential policies based on research in order to create a sustainable environment.
