Price: FREE for all students!! So everyone is welcomed! Students from UBC, BCIT, SFU Geography and Environmental Science are invited to attend. Student Profiles are being put together by George Patton. The student profiles are condensed resumes that are compiled into a booklet and given to companies at the career fair and to companies who were unable to attend. Download the profile template, complete it and send it to George Patton at gwpatton@sfu.ca. March 5th before 12:00pm is the strict deadline for profiles. SFU Earth Science Grad Rings A common tradition in many other universities is for Earth Science graduates to acquire a Grad Ring upon graduation. This tradition has been passed onto SFU last year. The Earth Science Department at SFU are generously subsidizing all Earth Science majors $50 for the cost of the ring. The company supplying the rings are also offering FREE engraving. The prices are listed below:
Engraving is included free of charge. The prices also include GST/PST AND SHIPPING. Week Of: February 27 , 2005 In attendance: Mary Ann Berg, Sandi Grad, Andrea Wolter, Alanna Ramsay, John Pogson, Jeff Catterall, Sean Stevenson 1. Career Fair 2. Short form info on Career fair Career fair will be on March 8th from 1-4:30 pm and it is on the same day as the CSPG session which will be held after the career fair. The CSPG session will be up at SFU Burnaby Mountain campus and pizza will be provided. 3. Motion has been put forth by Jeff Catterall, seconded by John Pogson to reimburse Mary Ann Berg $115.61 for chocolate bars, everyone at the meeting has agreed. 4. Food for Career fair 5. The Grad students asked to borrow the undergrad BBQ and no one at the meeting has objected. 6. HCCC Career services has offered to provide resume, cover letter and interview help for any Earth Sciences students.
