British Columbia Earth Sciences Articulation Meeting - UBC Okanagan
May 5, 2006 Field Trip Information
The field trip this year will look at relationships between wine, viticulture, geography and geology. The trip will have a number of stops that look at surficial deposits and bedrock geology that underlie Okanagan vineyards. We also plan to visit a number of wineries associated with various deposits. Transportation is provided by UBC Okanagan, but you need to complete the attendance form by March 30 to ensure there is a space for you! We are organizing a group lunch at one of the wineries but the location and cost (which participants will have to pay themselves) have as yet to be determined.
