Visual Arts in the early years
During the first 10 years of SFU's Centre for Communication and the Arts, painting, photography, calligraphy, and silkscreening were taught. The artists-in-residence throughout this period were Iain Baxter&, Joel Smith, and James Felter, and there were many other artists who joined them in SFU's visual arts scene.
