This five-part public dialogue series and collaborative learning program, engaged leaders of diasporic communities across Metro Vancouver. By sharing their stories and examining the impacts of their work both in Canada and throughout the Global South, the series explored the great and often overlooked potential of diasporic-driven development.
In addition to public dialogues covering such topics as poverty reduction, health, education, human security and peace-building, the program also convened a workshop series - providing a space to share experiences and engage theory and practice with the aim of creating resources and tools to support the work of diasporic-driven development.
