IT Services staff are continuing to work with the vendor support to restore AEM's authoring environment to past levels of performance.
As of Wednesday, October 18th the vendor has provided a potential solution which our staff is currently evaluating against a test instance to determine both whether it addresses our issue and the length of time that it will take to apply to our production author environment.
Once testing is complete and if this mitigation is successful, we will announce an outage for the authoring environment to apply the changes to the production AEM author.
