Good afternoon!
I’d like to introduce you to Giovanni HoSang. Back in 2015, Giovanni was one of our first ever volunteers as a Senior Technical Instructor with Black Boys Code. Today, Giovanni works as a Software Engineer at Microsoft.
In his own words:
"I will never forget the Sphero Robot hackathon we did in 2018 at the Surrey library. We taught the competitors to use code to control the Sphero robot to navigate the mazes. I was so impressed at how motivated they were…I am really passionate about getting and recruiting more Black folks in the tech industry as we have been underrepresented in the field. We use a lot of technology and technological devices and I."
Giovanni HoSang
We are so proud of Giovanni! Our goal is always to support and equip our students and parents with the resources needed to excel in the tech world so keep an eye out for upcoming workshops to get involved!
Have a powerful week!
